A 9.6 magnitude earthquake hits the city and Ray and Emma are able to help save the lives of many people.
Ray and Emma are forced to jump from the airplane by parachute in order to make it into San Francisco, causing them to land far off their mark of where Blake, Ben and Ollie are. With no way around they come into contact with an older couple who happen to own an airplane which they gladly exchange for Ray's stolen truck as their car has broken down. Ray and Emma are stopped completely when they come to a point where the San Andreas fault has completely opened up. They have to steal a truck in order to get to their daughter, and they do so in the midst of the danger of people looting stores as the local area has been ravaged by the earthquake. Unfortunately, Ray's helicopter begins to sputter forcing he and Emma into a crash landing in Bakersfield. Once they do Blake calls her dad to come get her. Two brothers, Ben who is seeking a job with Daniel's company, and his younger brother Ollie find Blake and are able to get her out. The earthquake has reached San Francisco and Daniel has gotten himself to the car garage with Blake, but when she is pinned into the car he leaves her to die. Ray is able to save Emma and they begin to fly to San Francisco for Blake. She is on the phone with Ray and once he finds out what's happening from her he orders her to get herself to the roof and he will come to her. But, the earthquake begins to shift along the entire San Andreas fault line.Įmma is at the top of the Marriott in downtown Los Angeles when the earthquake begins to rip through the city. Ray's isn't able to go on his trip with his daughter to San Francisco as he is called in to respond to the earthquake, and Emma's new boyfriend, Daniel takes her. He is at the Hoover Dam when a 7.1 magnitude earthquake rips through the area and the damn breaks, killing Hayes' associate.
